  • July 20 - The Click! Mobile Movie Customer Night. Outdoor movie featuring Star Wars: The Last Jedi at Fircrest Park. Come dressed as your favorite Star Wars character and compete to win a prize in the costume contest. Plus, enjoy a photo booth, games and raffle prizes. Picnic in the park begins at 6pm, the movie starts at 9:15pm.
  • July 1-31 – referral bonus of $50 to customers who refer friends and family during July.

Click! Network Project History

1997 April - Public Utility Board and Tacoma City Council approved the business concept

1997 December - construction of a hybrid fiber coaxial network began in City of Tacoma

1998 July 1 - the first retail cable TV customers were connected

1999 March - wholesale commercial broadband fiber services offered

1999 December - three Internet Service Partners (ISP) began offering retail high-speed Internet via cable modem - first time in the country any shared network offered multiple ISPs

2000 June - construction was completed in the City of Tacoma

2003 February - network expansion began in University Place & was completed July 2004

2004 February - network expansion began in Fircrest and was completed August 2004

2004 August - network expansion began in Tacoma Power’s service area in Lakewood

2004 August - launched Digital Video Recording (DVR) – first company in State to offer the service

2005 February - launched Video-On-Demand (VOD) services

2005 July - Click! offered services in Lakewood

2005 October - network expansion begins in Fife, services offered mid-July 2006

2007 May - added first Local VOD content from The Grand’s 2007 Film Competition

2007–2008 - services offered in unincorporated Pierce County – Brown’s Point, Dash Point, Fife Heights, Summit and Waller Road areas

2008 July - Click!’s 10th anniversary song debuted at Tacoma Farmers Market along with speeches by TPU Director Bill Gaines, Click! General Manager Cyndi Wikstrom, former Mayor Brian Ebersole, former TPU Chair Bil Moss, Paul Kelley – SOTA Co-Director, Damon Monroe (first customer) and Ian Morrison from the Governor’s Office

2008 December - total customer count: 24,368, ISP no cable: 5,288, ISP + cable: 17,581

2010 June - Mitch Robinson & Click! are recognized as Independent Marketer of the Year by CableFAX, an industry publication

2011 July - Click! receives Independent Customer Service Award at NCTC’s (National Cable Television Co-op) annual conference in San Francisco

2011 August - 1st phase of the digital migration completed; removed the analog version of all the channels in the Standard package

2012 July - DOCSIS 3.0 launched giving ISPs ability to sell 100 Mbps package

2013 November - launched TV Everywhere giving customers the ability to watch TV on mobile devices

2015 January - Click! received highest level of certification from MEF (Metro Ethernet Forum) for Carrier Ethernet (CE) network services

2015 June - digital migration complete. Click! removed analog version of all broadcast channels; all channels now digital

2016 November - launched TiVo
