Click! Network gives broadband a big boost
Keeping up with the competition isn’t easy – especially in the world of telecommunications. Click! Network can now better meet the demand of its current customers and entice new customers by offering broadband so fast, it will impress even the most techie among us.

Click!’s ability to provide faster broadband comes from upgrading its Data Over Cable Service Interface Specifications (DOCSIS). Click! Network has offered a DOCSIS 1.1 platform, but upgraded to DOCSIS 3.0 this month. 

“Very high speed Internet is a key technology for ushering consumers into the future,” said Click! General Manager Tenzin Gyaltsen. “We are pleased that loyal Click! customers can continue to rely upon us for these types of high-quality, value-oriented services.” 

Effective today, Click! Network’s three Internet service providers (ISP) – Advanced Stream, Net-Venture and Rainier Connect – will begin offering Internet speed options that top out at 100 MB per second. The new speeds will allow users to watch their favorite streaming videos, download full-length high-definition movies and participate in online gaming faster than ever before. Customers may have to upgrade their cable modem to access higher speeds. 

“Neighboring communities, such as Gig Harbor and Federal Way, that only have one cable option may have access to the faster technology, but they pay a lot more for it,” said Gyaltsen. 

With the network upgrade, the ISPs will also begin offering competitively priced bundle packages that include Internet, Voice over Internet Protocol phone, and cable television services. The bundle packages offer benefit consumers looking for choice and cost-saving options.

Click! warns customers about CenturyLink door-to-door salespeople
Click! Cable TV has received several calls from concerned customers who have questions about the accuracy of information provided by door-to-door salespeople representing CenturyLink. 
“Customers have been told that Click! Cable TV is going out of business in the next couple of months,” said Tenzin Gyaltsen, Click! Network general manager. “That is not true. Click! Cable TV is still in business, offering competitive pricing – and will continue to do so for many years to come.”
